The regional area of the County of Los Angeles is awaiting an adventurous experienced Construction Manager to join a dynamic “CAN DO” Team of Black and Veatch Professionals. Leadership skills, developing engaging clients, proposal development, project execution, sounds like you have drafted your career choice position.
As a Senior Manager you will be in the forefront of the LA Region’s most central pursuits, working with established Teams to first deliver compelling and influential proposals; then lead the delivery executing on challenging water conveyance, water reuse, pump station, collection systems, or treatment plant projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the assistance in preparation of client fee proposals
- Successfully assist owner managing and delivering projects on time and on budget
- Lead effective communication and coordination with project stakeholders including client, subconsultants, contractors and EOR
- Ability to deliver exceptional services within budget and dynamic scheduling constraints
- Demonstrate the ability to evaluate staff effectiveness and recommend key changes to achieve overall objectives
- Local travel within LA County
Management Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred Skills:
- BS in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related technical discipline required
- 10 to 20 years of water/wastewater project experience, primarily focused on treatment plants, pump stations and pipelines
- Professional Accreditations
- CMAA Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) Certificate
