Maintenance Mechanic II

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic, in the greater Chicago area, to help keep our world running smoothly!

A Maintenance Mechanic II at UL Solutions:

• Performs minor repairs relating to mechanical equipment, furniture, shelving, plumbing systems, duct work, etc.
• as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Assists in the inventory maintenance of parts and materials stock.
• Assists in the training and inspection of the work of subordinates as directed by supervisor.
• May perform electrical work, welding, carpentry and other trade work.
• Performs other duties as directed.

• Higher Secondary Education, plus 8 years of commercial maintenance & repair experience.
