Drive the implementation of meticulous Quality plans and procedures, ensuring excellence in every detail.

What YOU will do

• You will work closely with internal customers to assure that all quality requirements are satisfied.
• You will collaborate with Engineering & Operations to continuously improve processes.
• You will manage employee performance and morale.
• Develops and leads the implementation of cell projects and processes to ensure overall quality and customer perception are continuously improving
• Drives quality improvement initiatives to ensure ongoing reductions in Scrap Repair & Rework (SRR) and escapes.
• Directs collection and analysis of quality information from multiple sources to status on Quality metrics and develop a long-term site quality strategies.
• You will serve as a key member of the program leadership team, ensuring effective program performance by ensuring conforming products and services through effective collaboration, compliance to processes and procedures.
• You will support the development and deployment of advanced inspection tools and next-gen automation across the manufacturing process.
• You will develop quality talent pipeline and mentor quality professionals with their development and career progression.

Education & Experience

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications you must have

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62 
• 3 or more years of experience in a leadership or management role
• Management and/or leadership experience leading project teams
• Experience with QA systems such as AS9100, ISO, NADCAP and/or Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• Experience managing Quality Assurance Investigations such as rejection Tags and Corrective Action (i.e., RCCAs/ 8Ds)

Skills we value

• Experience leading continuous improvement projects and processes.
• Knowledge and experience in the effective use of Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) containment and analysis process and resources.
• Knowledge of Quality principles and processes including AS9100.
• Experience with Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) AS9145, Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) in aerostructures environment.
• Experience with Statistical Process studies.
• Experience communicating and presenting to senior and executive-level leadership both internally and externally
