A day in the life.
As an Insurance Marketing Analyst, you act as a key support to Producers and account teams by gathering and organizing prospect and client information, obtaining loss runs, and preparing loss summaries and loss-history analyses and stratifications. You perform analytical work such as researching claims issues, reviewing and calculating experience-mod worksheets, and running loss forecasters to evaluate exposure and proposal competitiveness. You will quote and rate programs across multiple carriers, become proficient with carrier rating systems, and create documents and spreadsheets that drive marketing efforts — from submissions and transmittal communications to proposals, finance agreements, certificates of coverage, and binder request documentation. Accurate file documentation, adherence to NFIP guidelines where relevant, and routine use of client management systems and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) are integral to the role.
Collaboration and relationship management are central to the position: you follow up with carriers to confirm receipt of submissions and to obtain requested information, compare coverages and terms, and build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and market contacts by phone, email, and in person. You support sales efforts by assisting with RFP responses and participating in prospect meetings as needed, attend carrier meetings and industry seminars to stay current on products and legislative changes, and continually develop your technical and industry expertise. The role requires analytical judgment, discretion, strong communication and persuasion skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

- Life and Health insurance license or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- College degree or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Insurance industry certifications in addition to necessary license(s).
