Job Description

This position will be a key player in NBC6 and Telemundo 51’s Southeast Region’s finance department.  Successful candidates will have an established background in accounting or finance, a strong analytic foundation, and an aptitude to maintain responsibility for a broad range of evolving priorities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Compile financial information, record journal entries for monthly closing, and prepare variance analyses. Maintain accounting controls and adhere to company policies & procedures
• Forecast operating expenses for budget and pacing purposes
• Prepare monthly & quarterly account reconciliations
• Manage capital budget, pacing, and inventory
• Assist Tech Ops Dept with purchase order creation and ensure accuracy
• Act as liaison between centralized Accounts Payable Team and Station Management
• Analyze T&E & P-Card Expenses
• Maintain station leases & contracts including renewals, and terminations
• Oversee vehicle fleet management
• Analyze trends and develop financial models to support strategic initiatives
• Assist Finance Department with any ad-hoc requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent expereince; accounting & finance emphasis preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience
• Expertise in Excel, Word, and Power Point

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be willing to work in Miramar, FL and surrounding areas – Hybrid 3 days/week in office
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
