Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

1. Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
2. Schedule- 4P- 12AM Monday- Friday.
3. Monitor, clean and inspect plant production equipment to ensure proper operation.
4. Operate mobile equipment including forklift and skid loader.
5. Assist other workers as needed.
6. Cleanup and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Experience in an industrial/outdoor work environment.
2. Ability to operate equipment under varying working conditions.
3. Ability to work with others in a team environment.
4. Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
5. Ability to work flexible hours to include overtime and weekends.
