About the role

The Process Reengineering Senior Consultant (PRSC) will apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles across the organization to facilitate the SCOR strategy based on prioritization defined criteria (i.e. Project Prioritization, VRT, Business feedback, ORCA/ICS, …).  The PRSC is responsible for providing effective support to the business across all topics of process reengineering needs, with core focus on process simplification, standardization, and automation, as well as consideration of controls and how these controls can be preventative and automated. The PRSC is responsible in rolling out the defined Process Management Framework and Process Reengineering unified approach across the organization (including methodologies, BPMN language, Process Taxonomy, tooling, … through specific process reengineering initiatives and training, communication, change management support)

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Interact with all levels of management and collaborate with various departments to understand their unique process needs and challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments on existing processes and KPIs, document existing processes, manage and analyze data, and recommend enhanced business processes. 
  • Provide expertise based on previous experience with training and technical assistance, business process analysis, change management, and other performance improvement.
  • Provide guidance and advice to senior leaders on the most effective and efficient use of resources to ensure positive and measurable outcomes. 
  • Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures necessary to support Operations processes. 
  • Support the further development, and evolvement of the process management framework and feedback loops with the business/process owners for continuous improvements mindset and effective collaboration. 
  • Support the implementation of operational KPIs and reporting/monitoring mechanisms to deliver visibility, change management, and interact effectively (using data) with staff and senior leadership. 
  • Monitor process reengineering timelines, coordinate with stakeholders & other internal “partners” (i.e. T&S BPs, Tech&Data, Automation Factory, ICS …) to ensure value add delivery within the agreed timelines.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and cultivate a mindset of innovation and continuous improvement.

Required experience & competencies

  • 8-10 years’ progressive experience in Business analysis/business improvement/performance measurement/project implementation 
  • Demonstrated track record of reengineering business processes and driving adoption across an organization/department 
  • Clear understanding of business process streamlining methodologies 
  • Accredited in Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology- preferable 
  • Has managed functional processes. 
  • Experience of implementing continuous improvement processes

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, coaching, verbal and written communication skills, as well as tact, diplomacy and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality. 
  • Ability to manage key stakeholder expectations, concerns, and to identify and mitigate risk as required, in person and virtually 
  • Viewed as a trusted advisor with a successful track record in building and maintaining strong relationships at all levels of the organization 
  • Effective internal consulting skills along with the ability to positively influence others in a desired direction to achieve identified outcomes without direct lines of authority 
  • Attention to detail and passion for delivering outstanding service 
  • Ability to make complex things simple to execute 
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently as well as part of a team; self-motivated 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bizagi (training will be provided)
  • Analytical as well as critical thinking 

Required Education 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree 
  • Must have experience in Agile methodologies (preferably Scrum and/or Kanban)
