Summary of Job Duties:

The position requires teaching in multiple adult education areas including Adult Basic Education, WAGE (Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy) employment preparation program, workplace/community courses, Integrated Education and Training courses, and possibly ESL courses. The position will primarily teach in-person daytime classes, but may also include evening classes, online classes, and off-campus classes in the community (Sharp County).

This position is stationed at the UACCB Sharp County Adult Education office.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• A current Arkansas Department of Education teacher’s license. If teachers do not already have a license in Adult Education, they must obtain an Adult Education teaching license within three (3) years of the date of their initial employment as full-time.
• Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Arkansas teaching license
• 3+ years of teaching experience
• Master's degree

Additional Information:

This position is stationed at the UACCB Sharp County Adult Education office but includes occasional travel to the UACCB Adult Education office in Batesville and to Little Rock or other locations for professional development sessions.

Salary Information:

$38,000-$44,000
