The Marketing department creates passion and relevance for the "Dolby Difference" driving sell-in and sell-thru of Dolby enabled devices, services, content, and experiences across multiple constituents – partners, creators, consumers, and developers.
We seek a visionary Head of Marketing to lead Dolby’s marketing efforts across the Americas (US, Canada, LATAM). This role, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, requires expertise in developing innovative marketing strategies, building high-performing teams, and collaborating with strategic partners. The successful candidate will drive brand awareness, customer adoption, and revenue growth. This is a dynamic and rewarding role where agility and creativity are key. Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across the Americas.
- Marketing Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement B2C, B2B2C, and B2B marketing plans based on market analysis.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with key partners in consumer electronics, automotive, and entertainment.
- Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Lead an integrated team to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
- Public Relations: Develop proactive communication strategies to enhance Dolby’s industry leadership.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee digital/social/influencer/media marketing and website content strategy.
- Events & Experiential Marketing: Execute Dolby experiences at industry and consumer events.
- Retail Marketing: Collaborate with retailers to enhance Dolby’s impact on consumer purchases.
- Content Strategy: Manage content creation and distribution across various digital platforms.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative environment.
- KPI Setting and Performance Reporting: Develop and track KPIs, optimize marketing investments, and report on performance.
- Budget Management: Efficiently allocate marketing resources to achieve strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years in senior marketing roles with global companies, particularly in consumer electronics, mobile OEMs, and automotive brands.
- Skills: Proven success in integrated marketing, team leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic partnership management. Strong understanding of market research, data analysis, and various business disciplines. Fluency in English is required; bilingual in English/Spanish or English/Portuguese is a plus.
- Travel: Willingness to travel up to 40%.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base salary range for this full-time position is $249,000 - 309,000, which can vary if outside this location, plus bonus, benefits, and some roles may also include equity. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
