This position directs, plans, implements, and manages the Division of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE) statewide Family Engagement Program and Task Force team to promote strong, self-reliant, and engaged families. Manages staff, processes, and procedures that help parents overcome obstacles hindering the ability to provide emotional and financial support for their children through proactive collaboration with community partners and other governmental agencies, as well as supporting overall Division performance measures by contributing to field operations with Court, Enforcement, Locate activities as needed, Review & Adjustments, Family Engagement Services and Fiscal Account referrals. Serves as the principal Family Engagement expert and serves as the primary liaison between the Division and program stakeholders to provide solutions to meet child support internal and external customer needs. Identifies, presents and proposes to the Division’s leadership team, any impediments, solutions, and new initiatives to continuously enhance the program based on state, local, federal and national opportunities as the program continuously evolves, and will provide direct support to the Division of Child Support Enforcement.
Minimum Qualifications
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead project teams.
• Considerable knowledge of management practices and principles of public administration and managing a child support office or team.
• Considerable experience working with child support related grants and initiatives.
• Considerable case management experience related to the child support program.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations applicable to child support and public social service programs.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data in order to identify problems and formulate solutions.
• Ability to establish and implement strategies to meet performance goals and plans and to impact overall program results.
• Ability to manage complex programs through staff including subordinate supervisors.
• Demonstrated ability to provide consultative services to agency staff and interest groups.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively to achieve goals.
• Ability to organize own work and direct the work of others, ensuring staff have the necessary training and knowledge to perform their job duties.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently; manage changing priorities, make sound, well-informed decisions and consult with program leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with diverse individuals, represent the organization to customers, the public, government, and other external sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Considerable knowledge of human services, family engagement, customer centric, or techniques serving families from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
