<h3>Your role</h3> <p>As Senior IT Infrastructure Security Engineer (m/f/d) at Kipu Quantum, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our IT infrastructure. In this dynamic position, you’ll collaborate closely with IT and development teams to design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge security solutions that keep our systems robust, reliable, and fully aligned with industry standards. As a leader in this space, you’ll spearhead critical security initiatives, driving impactful projects that ensure our infrastructure remains a step ahead of emerging threats. As Senior IT-Infrastructure Security Engineer (m/f/d) at Kipu Quantum your responsibilities essentially consist of:<br/><br/><ul><li>Design and implement robust security measures for networks, systems, and cloud infrastructure</li><li>Monitor and address security incidents, ensuring thorough investigations and effective remediation</li><li>Conduct advanced vulnerability assessments and penetration testing</li><li>Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure application and service deployments</li><li>Stay informed on emerging security trends, threats, and technologies, applying best practices</li><li>Provide training and guidance on security protocols to team members</li><li>Lead security audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards</li></ul></p> <h3>Your profile</h3> <ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, cyber security, IT security or a related field resp. comparable qualifications</li><li>Sound experience as specialist in IT security and network administration or a related field, ideally in a start-up environment</li><li>Extensive knowledge of network and system security principles</li><li>Proven experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM</li><li>Strong familiarity with cloud security; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) would be highly desirable</li><li>Experience in leading security projects and initiatives</li><li>Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills combined with strong communication and leadership abilities </li><li>True startup mindset; hands-on, driven, resilient.
