Join our dynamic team of experienced Unreal Engineers dedicated to crafting cutting-edge real-time graphics solutions for sports broadcasting enhancement and officiating. As a senior member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality VR and AR graphics to our clients, utilising an Unreal-powered pipeline and leveraging our in-house art assets.

Your role encompasses a broad spectrum, from addressing complex bug fixes to developing critical functionalities for deliverables within tight timelines. Collaboration with the product team to drive overall product development is a key aspect of this role, along with mentoring junior team members. Actively participate in regular design discussions and daily stand-up meetings. Continuous testing of products is essential, considering practical limitations in end-to-end testing environments. As a senior engineer, you will be a key participant in the peer review process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and enhancement of our Unreal graphics platform

• Collaborate closely with product engineers to produce and refine technical specifications

• Provide innovative solutions to unique problems

• Drive the core system to adopt and leverage new technologies

• Create high-quality, maintainable code

• Mentor and guide junior team members

• Actively participate in and lead peer reviews via pull requests

• Provide advanced debugging and support for live software

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:

• Extensive experience with Unreal, encompassing both C++ and Blueprints. Alternative engine experience will be considered

• Strong experience with modern C++11/14/17

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software within tight deadlines

• Extensive experience in backend graphics engine development (DirectX/OpenGL/Vulkan)

• Demonstrated expertise in AR/VR technologies

• HLSL/GLSL shader experience

• Strong foundation in mathematics

• Agile workflow experience

• Proficiency with Git or other source control software
