Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Alexandria, LA.  

• Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday’s. 3:00 p.m. start time, working 10-12 hours a day, 50- 60 hours a week.
• Pay Range: $22 - 25 per hour, depending on experience.
• Tool allowance of $150 per month towards your tool kit.
• On top of competitive wages, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, and vacation.

Job Summary

Performing preventative maintenance, repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems, along with parts replacement and minor engine repair on our garbage trucks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in diesel/heavy truck fleet maintenance.

The starting pay for this position is $22 - 25 per hour. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
