Staff Content Designer

The Consumer Experience (CX) org at StubHub is responsible for the end-to-end product experience for fans looking to discover, buy, and sell tickets to their favorite live events through our web and mobile platforms. We're in search of a content design leader who can approach design through the lens of language – ensuring clarity, consistency, and user empathy throughout our product, fostering strong connections with our fans worldwide.    As the Staff Content Designer for Core Experience, you will not only establish foundational content standards to elevate our product quality but also identify and drive impactful content-led initiatives. As one of our pioneering hires in the content discipline, you will play a pivotal role in building a high-performing team and developing tools and processes to deliver high-quality content at scale.    Design is growing at StubHub, and this role will give you an opportunity to reimagine every aspect of live events and directly impact millions of fans on our platform every day. We have a 3-day in-office and 2-day remote schedule.

What You'll Do

• Define content needs and opportunities through product audits and drive initiatives to establish content design systems such as style guides, content libraries, and term lists. 
• Set the content strategy, write, edit, and test compelling in-product language for critical product initiatives. This includes user flows, interface content, information architecture, product terminology, names, and education and marketing communications.   
• Exercise strong product thinking and influence team vision, strategy, and product decisions. 
• Develop scalable processes and durable tools, including AI, to empower teams to deliver top-tier content autonomously. 
• Improve our localization process to ensure excellence in every language, elevating product experiences worldwide. 
• Coach and guide other designers to grow their skills and elevate their work. 
• Partner with key stakeholders across the company such as communications, business development, paid marketing, and legal to ensure a cohesive narrative and messaging strategy. 

What You've Done

• 10+ years of professional experience in content design, content strategy, or UX writing. 
• Online portfolio of relevant work samples. 
• Significant experience developing information architecture, content design systems, and messaging frameworks that scale. 
• Proven track record of delivering product experiences with significant customer and business impact. 
• Proven ability to collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams at all stages of the product development cycle. 
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative product development process. 
• Experience in leveraging AI to scale high-quality content is highly desirable.
