Job Description
Director of Field Marketing, North America
Summary
IFS is seeking a highly capable, self-directed Director of Field Marketing to help drive awareness and generate top of funnel pipeline within our core industries. While leading a team, you will work both strategically and tactically and use your exceptional analytical experience to lead a team that is responsible for creating and executing marketing plans. In this role, you will work with your team to develop strategies to deliver marketing programs that grow new business and increase our footprint within our current customer base.
You will work closely with central marketing, regional marketing, business units, business development, partners, and sales to develop and execute best-in-class marketing plans. You will act as the escalation point for North America industry and functional marketing teams including regular participation in team calls, periodic in-person meetings, and planning sessions. You will constantly monitor and support North America marketing programs adjusting the strategy where needed and serve as an expert resource on processes, guidelines, and options for team members. The position includes (but is not limited to) marketing strategy, budgeting, campaign/project management, execution of marketing plans, and leading industry marketing specialists.
The ideal candidate has experience in B2B enterprise technology marketing, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a successful track record in building top of funnel pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive, best-in-class marketing strategy and plans to drive awareness and top of funnel within North America.
- Create innovative programs to scale efforts.
- Proven success in managing complex and multi-faceted, measured marketing programs with the ability to drive projects through completion and metrics.
- Develop marketing roadmaps that connect the dots across channels and deliver a unified and coherent message to target audiences.
- Research and pilot new programs and ideas that will drive future success.
- Demonstrate ability to tie marketing programs to ROI metrics.
- Strong team player, motivated to work collaboratively across a variety of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry tools including Marketo, Outreach, CRM, LinkedIn, PowerBI, etc.
- Experience leveraging a broad range of marketing tactics such as digital, tradeshows, business development teams, email marketing, third-party programs, etc.
- Accomplished range of skills from high level strategic thinking to creative and execution.
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Professional level presentation and written communication skills.
- Provide development and coaching to team members.
