Position Summary:
The Enterprise Privacy team within IT is seeking an a highly collaborative Sr. Analyst with a passion for privacy and enthusiastic about helping drive projects associated with Dexcom’s effort to position data privacy and compliance as a product differentiator. You will be responsible for creating deliverables for the Enterprise Privacy team as well as coordinating deliverables from component teams such as Privacy Legal. This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Investigate, develop, track and report on assessments, project status, detailed project schedules, critical path analysis, project and product risks, and project deliverables to management and cross functional teams.
Create clear summaries of projects, their statuses, dependencies, and other important details for a shared understanding of progress on the team’s efforts.
Respond to, track and drive administrative deliverables for team, including required risk assessment reports.
Demonstrate ability, confidence, and strong communication skills to lead status meetings with internal cross-functional teams as well as with external partners.
Positively motivate teams to ensure successful project completion.
Foster and promote a culture of privacy through privacy trainings, workshops etc.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate potential compliance areas to identify gaps and ensure full compliance with data protection & privacy regulations.
Facilitate discussions with business teams to educate them about applicable privacy/data protection requirements, including those relevant to cybersecurity controls.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency with the following data protection regulations and associated frameworks: GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, NIST frameworks, ISO frameworks, etc.
Experience creating data flow diagrams.
Competency in OneTrust, Jira, Microsoft Office, Excel, Sharepoint, and Smartsheets
Excellent project management and documentations skills, including a demonstrated ability to develop and manage a project with a detailed schedule, establish priorities, work to deadlines and able to control several projects with various technologies and in various stages of development.
Outstanding communication skills with the ability to convey technical and business information clearly and effectively through informal and formal documents, reports, and presentations to management.
Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude and self-driven to deliver results without daily supervision.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Master or JD Degree
One or more of the following certifications: CIPM, CIPT, CIPP, CISA, CISSP
Knowledge of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs)
Knowledge or a willingness to learn about AI Governance
