Supported and funded by our Board, we are strengthening our senior digital leadership team and have created a Deputy Chief Information Officers (DCIO) who with the CIO will drive this important agenda forward.
Our newly formed structure will allow you as the successful candidate to develop and influence the Trust's information management and technology strategy.
We would welcome applications with significant experience as a digital leader, ideally gained within the NHS or a similar complex organisation.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
The maintenance portfolio will see you lead, manage, and develop the IT Services Build teams, driving a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement in turn supporting the Trust's strategic objectives, including the adoption of new and emerging technologies.
Success will see you optimise the utilisation of IT resources, including hardware, software, and personnel, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
This pivotal opportunity will shape the Trust's digital future, ensuring that digital health solutions are designed and delivered to meet the needs of patients and staff.

Qualifications
Essential
*Educated to master's level, an equivalent professional qualification, or demonstrable equivalent experience, within an IT discipline or similar.
*Demonstrable professional knowledge in Software Development Lifecycle, Digital Management, Information Systems, Staff Management, and Project Management acquired through training or experience gained over a significant period to master's degree level.
*Demonstrable continuing professional development.

*Extensive experience of software development and software development life cycle particularly in the creating and overseeing developments within large and complex organisations.
