Sr. Program & Relationship Manager - Global Supply Chain & QARA

<h2>Position Summary</h2> <p>Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific Information Technology programs of projects within the Quality Assurance &amp; Reg Affairs (QARA) and Global Supply Chain areas, ensuring consistency and alignment with company strategies, goals, processes and procedures.</p> <h2>Principal Responsibilities</h2> <p><u>Planning</u></p> <p><br/> •    Lead the development of information technology strategies.<br/> •    Initiate new project requests including analysis of possible solutions, scope definition, resource, cost and schedule planning.<br/> •    Drive the alignment of IT strategy to the objectives of the QARA and Global Supply Chain teams.<br/> •    Collaborate with key business stakeholders in QARA and Global Supply Chain, system integrators and internal Teleflex teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.<br/> •    Drive standardization and consistency of QARA and Global Supply Chain processes and solutions.<br/> •    Partner with the QARA and Global Supply Chain program management in the planning of scope, schedule, resource and cost.<br/> •    Develop requests for proposals (RFP’s) for external services.</p> <p><br/> <u>Execution</u></p> <p><br/> •    Lead project teams in the analysis, design, implementation and development of information systems. <br/> •    Management of the relationship with relevant external consultants, vendors and system integrators<br/> •    Liaise with business owners to ensure effective communication and translation of business needs into technical requirements. <br/> •    Champion change management activities, negotiate agreements and commitments.</p> <p> </p> <h2>Principle Responsibilities</h2> <p><u>Control</u></p> <p><br/> •    Oversight of all IT projects within the assigned function.<br/> •    Monitors progress and evaluates program and project performance on regular basis.<br/> •    Ensures adherence to all relevant IT policies, procedures, and computer systems validation standards.<br/> •    Ensures accurate and timely project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, cost reports, and risk registers.<br/> •    Monitors and manages program and project risks, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks and opportunities.<br/> •    Collaborate with project managers and business owners to ensure project objectives are achieved within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.<br/> •    Liaises with PMO, program sponsor and other stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.</p> <p><br/> <u>Team Leadership </u></p> <p><br/> •    Manage resource assignments and priorities; work with other functional managers to coordinate assignments to projects and other deliverables whilst dealing with changing priorities.<br/> •    Promote a work environment that challenges the status quo and fosters teamwork.<br/> •    Develops, motivates, and directs IT team members and fosters a team environment.<br/> •    Create a trusting, collaborative, and ethical work environment that positively contributes to employee engagement.<br/>  </p> <h2>Education / Experience Requirements</h2> <p>•    Proven track record of leading, designing and executing on significant programs of business process and IT systems reengineering and change within the Global Supply Chain or QARA areas.<br/> •    Extensive experience in applying structured project management and systems development methodologies to deliver business change.<br/> •    Business acumen and experience within the IT, Global Supply Chain and QARA functions.<br/> •    Ability to bring best practice experience to Teleflex.<br/> •    Experience of building relationships with executive and senior leadership, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels. <br/> •    Strong problem solving and analytical skills, developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives.<br/> •    Proven facilitation skills across multiple business disciplines, organization levels and geographies.<br/> •    The ability to prioritize and manage several projects and customers simultaneously.<br/> •    Excellent communication skills.</p> <h2>Specialized Skills / Other Requirements</h2> <p>•    Six Sigma or other Business Process Mapping certification.<br/> •    Professional Project Management certification.<br/> •    PLM, eQMS, or SAP implementation experience, preferably from a business analyst or IT support discipline. <br/> •    Knowledge of Computer Systems Validation.<br/> •    Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry experience including implementation of Corrective Action Preventive Action initiatives.</p>
