Together, we are not just advancing technology; we're building a community committed to safeguarding a safer and more connected world.</p><p></p><p><b>About the role</b></p><ul><li>Accountable for the completion of standard or non-standard tasks, within the scope of the function</li><li>Delivers activities to support operational objectives for their role</li><li>Inputs to planning activities with horizons of typically up to 6 months</li><li>Makes decisions within parameters set by manager, using job/specialist experience</li><li>Interacts with client or users around specific work efforts and deliverables</li><li>Supports delivery of Health and Safety policy and standards</li><li>Supervises the activities of service partners to meet deadlines and quality standards taking account of impact outside area of responsibility</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Skills and Experience</b></p><ul><li>Working knowledge of one functional area through job experience &amp; training</li><li>Have achieved an HND or HNC as a minimum in an Engineering discipline</li><li>Experience of supporting a business contract and/or providing support to a professional function</li><li>Have a sound working knowledge of all UK facilities biased statute</li><li>Member of a relevant recognised Industry professional body (e.g.  IWFM, CIBSE etc) although not essential.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Desired Qualifications </b></p><ul><li>Have a working knowledge of automated drawing software packages / Computed Aided Design</li><li>Have a working knowledge of project management scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project</li><li>Have a working understanding of Asset Management / Protection.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities </b></p><ul><li>Ownership of the operational management of Livingston.</li><li>Deliver all facilities management and project services on site.</li><li>Manage Facilities function interface with other business functions for Livingston.</li><li>Manage day to day running of site.</li><li>Manage the activities of the  site Facilities team.</li><li>Ensure performance of the department meets service requirements and strives for continual improvement.</li><li>Support delivery of Health and Safety policy and standards</li><li>Support delivery of Environmental policy and standards</li><li>Support delivery of corporate policy and standards</li><li>Support customer and company audits ensuring op
