The “Financial Reporting Global Markets” department is responsible for monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting of the “Markets” segment according to IFRS and the analysis and explanation of the key financial figures related to Market activities. Further focus is on development of existing internal controls related to the accounting process. Furthermore, the department provides accounting support in relation to transactions and commercial energy contracts.

Job Description

• Act as Senior Advisor in the business area within financial reporting and accounting
• Actively contribute with relevant analyses of value drivers and drivers’ influence on financial performance
• Reporting, control and analytical review of IFRS figures to the Group
• Controlling of fair value-accounted derivative contracts
• Provide IFRS accounting assessment and implementation support to energy contracts, investments and transactions within the business area
• Follow up on accounting issues such as fair valuations of energy contracts
• Drive process improvement and automatisation

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree in finance/audit or similar
• At least five years relevant experience
• Interested in energy trading / management industry and have a sound business understanding and curiosity
• High competence in IFRS
• Proactively taking initiatives for analyses and improvements
• Good understanding and interest in digitalization
• Analytical, accurate and structured
• Very good communication skills in English
