Our solutions assist criminal investigation offices, forensic institutes, and DNA laboratories in creating offender profiles, analysing evidence, and ultimately resolving cases.</p><p>As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a <strong>Senior Software Developer</strong> to join our team. This role involves contributing to the ongoing development of our Eclipse RCP-based framework solution and supporting both analysis and implementation tasks. You will work closely with experienced developers to carry out feasibility and performance assessments, while also engaging with databases and performing basic SQL queries. The position includes debugging and optimising existing applications to ensure efficiency and reliability. You will become an active member of an agile development team, participating in methodologies such as <strong>Scrum </strong>or <strong>Kanban</strong>, and after a thorough onboarding process, you will take responsibility for managing and organising your own tasks independently.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>We are looking for someone who <strong>has completed vocational training or holds a university degree in computer science or a related field. </strong>A sound understanding of<strong> software development in Java</strong>, along with initial experience using <strong>Eclipse</strong>, is essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills are required, as well as<u><strong> fluency in both German and English</strong></u>, written and spoken.
