Sr Data Visualization Designer at a glance

The Data Visualization Designer is responsible for helping to create a world-class data, insights and analytics practice as we transform the ways that team members from across the org leverage data to propel our business into the next stage of hyper-growth. You are a committed story teller, always looking for the connective narrative thread running through complex data sets and will influence how we visually present information to a broad cross-section of user groups and archetypes to enhance actions and overall usability. Defining the data visualization standards to support complex dashboards, multi-layered reports, analytics and insights cards, AI and ML patterns and large screen visualization display are all within the scope of this role.

What's on the menu?

• Establish data viz design system, patterns and frameworks.

• Create hi-fidelity screen designs and mock-ups (Figma) in partnership with the UX team to hand off to Product and Engineering for development.

• Embrace the Agile mindset to deliver rapidly and continuously.

• Lead formal usability testing sessions (on-site and remote).

• Conduct user research by using and/or creating personas, behavioral archetypes, site maps, user flows, user interviews, card sorting, hero journeys, competitive audits and market research.

• Demonstrate excellence in presenting designs and defending solutions with technical and non-technical audiences.

• I have outstanding oral and written communication skills.

• I am capable of verbally defending and compromising on design solutions, embracing an agile, iterative approach to excellence when necessary.

• I demonstrate the capacity to empathize with users.

• I possess a keen business sense in understanding the balance between perfection and deployment obligations.

• I have the ability to solution across devices, frameworks, platforms, responsive states etc.

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$96,800.00 - $121,000.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
