AVP, Product Execution & Modernization

The AVP, Product Execution and Modernization is a key executive role, responsible for the maintenance and modernization of products, tools and underwriting.  We are looking for a strong leader to create a culture that promotes and encourages the need to balance the ease of doing business with underwriting disciplines. They will be responsible for product evolution to adapt to market trends and give opportunities for growth. Creating and managing a product roadmap encouraging and coordinating actions across cross-functional teams, also responsible for seeking and executing relationships between vendors and distribution.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

Education:  Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent related experience preferred.

Experience:  9 - 11 years or Master's Degree equivalent plus 7 - 9 years. Strong track record of progressive responsibility in the management of Product, Underwriting and Innovation in Property & Casualty Insurance

Management:  A minimum of 5 years of progressive management responsibility

 

 

Clear communication style to explain prioritization decisions and articulate product strategy and roadmaps

Experience working in an agile environment

Strategic thinking skills to translate research and market insights into an actionable product roadmap
