Job Description: A CPR Instructor shall be a continual learner, with an ability to teach prescribed content to a variety of learners.  Proper detail must be attended to assuring complete coverage of classroom learning and hands-on skill demonstration. High integrity, classroom presence, and a mastery of materials are essential to deliver competent and consistent courses to students.
•    Set up classrooms to encourage a good learning environment
•    Maintain and setup equipment for instruction
•    Maintain classroom rosters for courses taught
•    Sterilize equipment for student use
•    Be knowledgeable of course materials
•    Maintain a safe and learner friendly environment
•    Issue certifications with integrity and consistency
•    Secure departmental equipment at the end of each course
•    MUST be certified by a valid Organization to issue certification cards.
•    Assist students in a designated academic subject or discipline as needed
•    Foster educational growth and development; identify educational needs and provide assistance as necessary 
•    Ensure confidentiality of all pertinent information 
•    Provide information and excellent customer service to constituents
•    Maintain a safe and supportive environment 
•    Encourage the Baylor Community to live active and healthy lives  
•    Assist in assigned area of responsibility 
•    Provide excellent customer service to clients and visitors  
•    Participate in various activities and tasks related to health and recreation  
•    Adhere to and ensure safety procedures and precautions are followed  
•    Ability to comply with University policies  
•    Maintain regular and punctual attendance
