Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, the Senior Consultant will develop and provide solutions for clients pursuing operational excellence and/or technical solutions. They will be mentored by a Senior Manager/Manager or self-managed and interface regularly with clients and others within or outside of the firm. They will mentor consultants in their training and development, and help lead and shape the delivery resources, in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
Essential Responsibilities:- Lead the analysis and interpretation of complex hospital market , operations and financial data to identify strategic, facility and financial opportunities and strategic priorities
- Build and manage advanced market analysis and financial models to assess hospital market research, growth opportunities, and facility growth scenarios
- Manage core components of hospital consulting projects, including project planning, milestone tracking, delivery and coordination of cross-functional consulting teams
- Oversee analytical workstreams by guiding consultants, reviewing client project models and deliverables, and ensuring accuracy and quality of work
- Develop clear, executive-level presentations and materials that communicate insights and strategic recommendations to hospital leadership
- Participate in client site visits, interviews, and presentations to inform strategic recommendations
- Support and mentor junior consulting team members by providing direction, feedback, and technical guidance
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships with other services and support growth initiatives
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, healthcare administration, business, health sciences, data analytics or a related field; advanced degree such as MBA or MHA preferred
- 4+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, healthcare strategy, financial analysis, or a related field
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience working with large data sets and building financial models in Excel
- Proven ability to develop client-facing deliverables and communicate complex concepts to c-suite
- Experience managing multiple projects and working effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Healthcare industry experience, particularly with hospitals or health systems, and strong communication and collaboration skills preferred

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $80,000 to $108,000, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
