Sr. Financial Analyst

Copper River Cyber Solutions is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to work under the direction of the Copper River Team Lead to assist the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Resource Manager in meeting their fiscal duties and obligations. The candidate will be part of a team of technical and analytical experts who will provide time-sensitive execution of day-to-day financial actions and detailed analysis that enables the discovery and recommendations towards solutions for DHA's existing and future fiscal requirements, programs, and initiatives.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Assist in planning, developing, tracking, and executing the contracts, budget, and Interagency resource portfolio program, including program and budget formulation, financial services, managerial accounting, management analysis, financial improvement and audit readiness, financial reporting, and support for the Funds Manager.
- Develop and maintain annual and multi-year financial plans and track daily, weekly, and monthly Commitments, Obligations, Expenses, and Disbursements.
- Improve effectiveness & efficiencies of operations and develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
- Support complex ad hoc data calls and review tasks for quick turnaround and tasks requiring more substantive budget planning and execution.
- Interface with DHA, supporting staff and program managers to obtain manpower, personnel, training, readiness, and equipment data to identify solutions for existing, new, and/or emerging requirements.
- Provide each unique group of users with the appropriate interfaces, tools, dashboards, writeups, and other artifacts that enable the most effective decision-making.
- Support the development of decision-support models, tools, dashboards, or other artifacts. Define modeling objectives, conduct exploratory analysis, develop a minimum viable prototype to meet decision objectives, and review results with sponsors.

- Bachelor’s degree in finance/business/data Analysis with 5-7 years of experience.
- Experience:

- Strong financial data planning and analytical experience
- Experienced in Excel, creating and using pivot tables, and generating graphs.
- Proficient in MS Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Previous U.S. government financial experience is highly desired.
- Experience with the government’s General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
- Experience creating and validating Spend Plans
- Comfortable working with databases and dashboards for analysis and generating various financial and business reports.
- Must have oral and written presentation skills to senior executives.
- Defense Health Agency experience preferred.
- Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of the department/contract.
