Highline Public Schools is seeking a Behavior Analyst to join our team of educators for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year!
SUMMARY: The position provides both direct and consultation services to students with significant social-emotional/behavioral needs; possesses and maintains competency in assessment and analysis of behavior; works collaboratively with IEP teams, special education teachers, speech language pathologists, occupational therapists, school psychologists and other special education providers; supervises and guides behavior technicians; works as a cooperative member of a multi-disciplinary team; and performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Special Education.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Masters degree in related discipline, Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board,and ESA Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Public school experience as a BCBA or other professional Special Education Provider, criminal background clearance, valid WA State driver's license and proof of insurance, and all certificates, licenses, endorsements, permits, and vaccines (absent exemption) as required for this position by state and local authorities.
