Description
The Clinical Trials Research platform is designed for sponsors and research sites, aimed at bringing safe and effective therapies to more people more efficiently. Our software solutions accelerate clinical trials, build real-world datasets that improve the diversity and representativeness of research, and discover targets that can result in new medicines for patients.
Research applications and services employ the latest industry standards to build performant and scalable cloud-native architectures that help develop the future of biomedical research!
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test applications with a team of 5-7 engineers.
- Write actionable specifications based on product user stories that are delegated to your team members.
- Build full stack software in React, Go, using the gRPC, Protobuffers, and Google Cloud Platform technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and staff engineers on architectural designs.
- Influence and mentor across other teams as you develop the research trials platform together in a microservices architecture.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience with software development in Go, Python, Ruby or other procedural languages.
- Experience with database technologies, such as MySQL, Postgres, BigQuery or NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Git, Jira and Agile development methodologies.
- Ability to self-regulate in a distributed hybrid remote environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience in building cloud native software in healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
- Ability to collaborate with distributed teams on several simultaneous projects.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $148,000 - $227,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
