Job Description

The SQL Developer is responsible for:

• Design and development of SQL Server 
• Making enhancements and troubleshooting as needed
• Performing complex queries in SQL Server
• Developing procedures, functions, and triggers
• Supporting stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Perform tuning of long-running quieries 

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• 1+ years of experience with SQL Server development 
• Proficiency with stored procedures, functions, and triggers
• Performance tuning of queries and procedures 
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Ideal Candidates will have:

• Bachelor's Degree in related field 
• 4-5+ years of relevant experience with SQL Server development and complex/large databases 
• Lab/science background
• Experience working in a regulated environment following a standardized and documented software life cycle 
• Understanding of WebJobs and how they are used for SQL Server tables 
• Experience with Azure storage 
• Knowledge of how to properly secure Azure components
• Expert knowledge of all aspects of Windows 
• Strong interpersonal skills, written/verbal communication skills. detail oriented, quick learner, and team player 
• Ability to work with all levels of personnel 

The role is M-F, 9am-5pm, with additional hours as needed.
