Serving a 50-Mile Radius Around Greeley We are seeking candidates within a 50-mile radius of Greeley, including areas in Northern Colorado and Wyoming. Nearby communities include:
- Colorado: Loveland, Fort Collins, Windsor, Longmont, Brighton, Berthoud, Johnstown, Milliken, Wellington, Lafayette, Thornton, Boulder, and surrounding areas.
- Wyoming: Cheyenne, Laramie, Torrington, and nearby areas.

Your Role: As a Transit Bus Operator, you’ll be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient transportation of passengers within the Greeley-Evans Transit service area. Reporting to the Mobility Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring adherence to system policies, maintaining on-time performance, and prioritizing passenger safety. Your responsibilities will include:
- Making informed decisions to minimize service interruptions.
- Navigating effective routing alternatives.
- Providing accurate reports on events, incidents, and performance.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills:
Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Class B-P2 Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Ability to pass and maintain DOT Physical Requirements.
- Participation in Federal Transportation Administration (FTA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated Drug and Alcohol testing programs.
OR
- Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job.
Preferred
- Previous Bus Operator experience.
- Military veterans
- Passenger Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) certification.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge, understanding, and ability to adhere to Federal Transportation Administration (FTA), Department of Transportation (DOT), and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
- Ability to complete on-going GET bus driver training programs including updates on FTA, DOT, ADA Paratransit, and safety information.
- Excellent knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations and has a demonstrated ability to perform duties associated with operating paratransit services including the safe transportation of passenge
