Your team and Role:
As a Lead Infrastructure Developer, you will be an integral part of the Linux Operating System team. Your role will focus on driving automation initiatives for all Linux OS activities, utilizing your hands-on expertise with Ansible, Python, Shell scripting, and APIs. Here is What You Can Expect on a Typical Day:

• Work closely with product owners to understand key objectives and align solutions with business goals. Partner with technical leads to define technical designs and feature stories.
• Collaborate with team members to understand systems end-to-end and deliver robust solutions that drive business impact.
• Utilize DevOps, cloud expertise, Ansible, and Python to design, implement, and manage automated infrastructure solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Red Hat Linux, developing solutions and automating tasks using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Collaborate with the support team to provide solutions for ongoing troubleshooting and guide them in resolving critical issues.
• Participate in daily stand-ups with the team and lead efforts to
• Develop APIs to enhance infrastructure automation and streamline operations.
• Attend agile team and stakeholder meetings to obtain business requirements, offer solutions, and provide input on Unix operating system capabilities.
• Bring a strong understanding of relevant and emerging technologies, and embed learning and innovation in the day-to-day   
• Deliver cross-product demos to showcase solution development and implementation, highlighting key features and outcomes.
• Support product owner and tech lead in defining future stories and technical designs

The Skills & Expertise You Bring:

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or experience in a related field.

• Experience with agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business.

• Ability to coach others with minimal guidance and effectively leverage diverse ideas, experiences, thoughts and perspectives to the benefit of the organization.

• Ability to learn new skills and knowledge on an on-going basis through self-initiative and new challenges.

• Excellent problem solving, communication and collaboration skills.

Advanced experience and/or expertise with several of the following:

• Proven experience in overall IT experience with strong experience as a Unix Solution Engineer or infrastructure developer.
• In-depth expertise in Red Hat Linux (RHEL) administration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Demonstrated experience with with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or Salt Stack.
• Expertise in scripting languages like Python and Shell scripting (Bash) for automating infrastructure tasks.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform for provisioning and managing resources.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices for CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with the ability to design hybrid solutions.
