General Production

Job Description

We are seeking qualified applicants for the role of GENERAL PRODUCTION, which is split into two different categories described below (Mill and Converting), based upon candidate qualifications.  We currently have five positions open covering both the Mill and Converting categories.

 

Mill Duties

• Reports to shift supervisor at beginning of each shift.
• If the pit is full empty pit first.  The wet end, dry end, Hike out any high spots 

             under the 2nd and 3rd sections dryers.

• Clean-up around conveyer in the conveyer room.
• Sweep all areas in the mill. 
• Dust walls, frame work, equipment, mill wide painting.
• All other cleanup tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Train as 4th hand, Utility Beater Furnisher until qualified.
• Fill in the appropriate low-seniority position as others on the crew

             can train.

Converting Duties

• Reports to shift supervisor at beginning of each shift.
• Perform quality inspection once an hour.
• Wrap and relabel product.
• Sweep all areas in Converting. 
• Dust walls, frame work, equipment, Converting wide painting.
• All other cleanup tasks assigned by the supervisor.
• Train on all entry level positions. Stacker, Extruder Printer and Paste Maker until      

            qualified.     

• Fill in the appropriate low-seniority position for employees to train up.
