Cashier

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register to process cash, credit, and electronic payments.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and addressing their needs.
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
• Assist with scanning items, packing purchases, and ensuring accurate pricing.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support store operations.
• Follow company policies regarding cash handling and security.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cashier or in retail preferred but not required.
• Friendly and customer-oriented attitude.
• Basic arithmetic skills to handle cash transactions properly.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
