Your responsibilities

 

We are looking for an experienced Information Security Architect to join our IT team under the COO IT area. This critical role will focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining security solutions for our hybrid IT/OT environments. The successful candidate will collaborate with both IT and OT teams to integrate and enforce security measures that protect our critical infrastructure, align with regulatory requirements, and support our mission to deliver safe and reliable services in the utilities sector.

 

• Design and Implement Security Solutions: Develop and deploy security architectures, solutions, and services tailored for hybrid IT/OT environments, ensuring the protection of both operational and information systems
• Risk and Threat Analysis: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, threat modeling, and security audits for IT/OT systems. Proactively identify vulnerabilities and implement measures to mitigate security risks in industrial settings
• Security Policies and Compliance: Develop, maintain, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures that ensure compliance with industry regulations and support our overall security objectives
• Collaboration Across Teams: Work closely with IT and OT teams to seamlessly integrate security controls and requirements into operational systems, ensuring a consistent approach across both domains
• Tool Evaluation and Integration: Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies that cater to the specific needs of IT/OT convergence, ensuring the effectiveness of threat detection, prevention, and response measures
• Regulatory and Compliance Adherence: Ensure that all security solutions and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards, particularly in the energy and utilities sector

 

  

Your profile

Required Qualifications:

• Several years of proven hands-on experience in IT security, with a strong focus on OT environments
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles across both IT and OT domains
• Strong expertise in network and security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and encryption
• Experience with industrial control system protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus)
• A deep understanding of cloud security, specifically within the Azure ecosystem
• Proficiency in conducting threat analysis, risk assessments, and security audits, particularly in industrial and critical infrastructure settings
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements within the energy or utilities sectors
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar
• Experience in securing energy or utilities infrastructure
• Familiarity with the latest security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO/IEC 27001)
