On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

What Will You Do?
As an Administrative Assistant at Pine Rest, you’ll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. Under broad directives, the administrative assistant plans, implements and completes assigned administrative projects. Performs clerical duties including, but not limited to, drafting routine and/or sensitive correspondence, proof reading and editing materials for accuracy and clarity, data entry, invoicing/requisitioning expenses, gathering and interpreting information to develop reports, and maintaining department files, supplies, equipment and physical space. May also relieve supervisor and appropriate others of administrative details where errors are likely to have moderate costs. This role is dedicated to excellent customer service, enthusiastic about the care we offer, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plans and implements assigned projects from general directions given by supervisor(s) which may have program or organization-wide significance. Works with both internal and external customers.
• Gathers, interprets, and summarizes data and information; uses data to develop administrative and statistical reports. Composes confidential and sensitive reports, contracts, and records. Assists in monitoring department budgets and accounts.
• Offers other administrative support including, but not limited to: greeting and directing visitors or patients, answering questions based on knowledge of department/organization, appropriately transferring and screening calls, maintaining calendars of supervisor(s) and/or the work group, and making routine travel accommodations.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, departmental events and other special projects. Provides meeting materials and takes meeting minutes.
