The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes is hiring Mid-Level and Senior Manufacturing Engineers to support our production teams in Everett, WA. Successful candidates will have the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to collaborate with both the engineering teams and mechanics on the factory floor.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.
Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
Leads and implements manufacturing plans.
Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
Analyzes design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule.
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
Implements lean principles and technologies.
This position is a Production Engineering role and requires direct interfacing with the people, parts, and equipment on the production floor. A typical day could include:
Spending up to 8 hours on feet standing/walking on the production floor
Climbing ladders or stairs to access equipment or airplane sections
Working at heights or in tight spaces
Wearing required PPE
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Experience working in an engineering discipline.
Experience working in a production environment.
5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Mid-Level)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Senior Level)
