Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. This is a great role
for participating in open source projects. In this position you will be an integral part of the
development and maintenance of our e-commerce and business automation infrastructure. This will include web store development, entitlement systems integration, payment provider
management, and integration with 3rd party systems and services.

• Develop and maintain e-commerce systems for product catalog management, order fulfillment, and payment processing
• Develop and maintain systems for business operations and automation (reporting, data synchronization, etc.)
• Drive discovery and evaluation of new technologies to maximize development efficiency and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features and enhancements
• Troubleshoot defects and perform root cause analysis
• Fix bugs and improve system performance

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of PHP, C#, Java Development Technology ( LEMP, Vagrant, Docker, VirtualBox, Git)
• 5+ years working experience of software engineering
• Front-end development experience (i.e.. HTML, JavaScript (jQuery), SPA
• Frameworks(Vue.js, ExtJS), CSS)
• Cross platform web services development experience (REST, JSON, SOAP)
• Several years of Linux/Unix development, shell and python scripting experience
• Experience with open source development processes
• Experience in developing systems for high reliability and scalability
• Intrinsic drive towards KISS and DRY principles

Additional Information

The new hire base pay for this role has a salary range of $110,000 to $140,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, relevant experience, and US location. The salary range provided reflects the base salary and in addition may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses, commissions, equity, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, well-being, tax savings, and income protection.
