Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our growing production team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video, a strong eye for visual composition, and proficiency in video editing software. You will be responsible for assembling recorded footage, applying artistic editing techniques, and delivering high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and messaging goals. You will help bring stories to life through high-quality video editing that supports our brand and connects with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished video content for use across digital platforms including social media, websites, and advertising campaigns.
- Collaborate with directors, producers, and marketing teams to understand project scope and vision.
- Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, graphics, and special effects.
- Ensure logical sequencing, continuity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and software improvements.
- Manage and organize media assets and project files for efficiency and reusability.
- Revise and iterate edits based on feedback in a timely and constructive manner.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite with a strong emphasis on Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
- Experience with motion graphics and visual effects (Adobe After Effects) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of color grading, audio mixing, and storytelling techniques.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills including working knowledge of Frame.io.
- A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating video editing skills.
- Highly dependable and able to work within a team or independently.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field.
- Experience with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram Reels, or other short-form video content.
- Familiarity with cameras and lighting setups.
- Understanding of media offloading and ingest workflows.
- Experience with Adobe Media Encoder and Bridge.
