Pharmacy Technician

Sage Specialty Hospital of Wichita Falls is now hiring a Full-time Pharmacy Technician!

We’re looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced hospital setting and is committed to supporting high-quality patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Graduate or Equivalent
• Six (6) to twelve (12) months of Pharmacy experience
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintains confidential reports
• Enter and retrieve data utilizing the computer system
• Prepare medications
• Fills automated medication dispensing system with a supply of unit dose medications.
• Procure and fill requests for pharmaceutical supplies and deliver supplies to nursing units.
• Performs inventory management activities that ensure adequate stock of medication, purchasing contract compliance, effective cost management and compliance with laws and regulations.
