Program Financial Analyst (Intermediate) - United States (Remote)

Responsible for providing program financial support to the finance operations team. The position will support management in preparing and coordinating all financial data requirements such as Annual Operating Plan, Budgets, Current year forecast, and Estimates at Complete (EAC).  Partners with operational leadership and program support departments to address all matters of financial consolidation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for financial reporting preparation and consolidation to include coordination between the finance operations team and operational leadership.
• Develop and maintain Excel models to facilitate effective monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
• Responsible to document and coordinate variance analysis explanations.
• Analyze trends and metrics to develop automated solutions and process improvements for the financial reporting process.
• Drives consistency in financial reporting processes by proposing best practices across programs.
• Responsible for ad hoc analysis, preparation, and coordination for both finance and operational leadership.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requests with the finance operations team.
• Month-end close for portfolio of programs including the project controls.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
• 5 years of Accounting/Finance experience.
• Experience working in Defense/government contract accounting preferred.
• US Citizenship required

Skills & Technology Used:

• Expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and related financial applications.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
• Personal computer, printer, copy machine, and other general office equipment.

  • USD $ 70,000 - $120,000
