The Finance Area of the Orfalea College of Business (OCOB) at Cal Poly is inviting applicants for a tenure-track, academic year position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Finance program is expanding its real estate curriculum and is seeking applicants with primary research and teaching interests in Real Estate Finance, with related competencies in Quantitative Finance (Financial Econometrics, Fin-Tech and Financial Analytics). Applicants should have an active research agenda and be committed to excellence in research and teaching, at both undergraduate and MBA levels.

Appointment at the Assistant Professor rank is anticipated; the anticipated hiring range is $135,200 to $149,400.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
The Finance Area of the Orfalea College of Business (OCOB) at Cal Poly is inviting applicants for a tenure-track, academic year position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The Finance program is expanding its real estate curriculum and is seeking applicants with research and teaching interest in Real Estate Finance, as well as Quantitative Finance (Financial Econometrics, Fin-Tech and Financial Analytics). Applicants should have an active research agenda and be committed to excellence in research and teaching, at both undergraduate and MBA levels.
The successful candidate must have completed a doctorate or equivalent degree in Real Estate Finance, Finance, Economics or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Demonstrated experience and commitment to student-centered learning and teaching, as well as the ability to collaboratively work in multidisciplinary settings is required. Demonstrated proficiency in written and oral use of the English language is required.
