$1,000 scholarship/semester

The Digital Operations Assistant supports Student Media’s digital advertising and analytics workflow by managing data collection, preparing weekly performance reports, and assisting with ad placement across platforms. This role ensures that digital campaigns run smoothly by coordinating with the advertising and marketing teams, maintaining accurate metrics, and producing clear, professional slide decks for internal and client use. The Digital Operations Assistant plays a key operational role in keeping Student Media’s digital advertising organized, timely, and data-driven.

• Collect, organize and provide data from the Lariat website, Morning Buzz, social media platforms, and Lariat print editions into clear and easy-to-understand formats

• Assist with preparing and delivering weekly PowerPoint presentations for teams including sales, social, web, and Morning Buzz

• Help place digital advertisements in their assigned locations according to reservation details

• Monitor basic digital trends and insights that may help Lariat advertisers better understand campaign performance and plan future advertising efforts
