Senior DevOPS Engineer - SME Tribe

<p>Plan, Automate (Configurations, Deployments), Operate, Maintain, and Monitor the business process (end to end) of IT solutions and provide the appropriate function of the services in the performance metrics agreed in SLA. (all in a cloud environment mainly on AWS)</p> <p><strong><em>You do some of this daily:</em></strong></p> <ul><li>Regularly evaluate the IT system/application in responsibility, in terms of technical, audit and security requirements, work rules and procedures, availability and continuity.</li><li>Automate, develop, build, test, deploy, run, and update permanently the operating procedures and work instructions for monitoring in case of services damage at the level of the owned application. </li><li>Implements active monitoring identifies and tracks relevant performance indicators.</li><li>Analyze the incidents and problems occurred at the application level that you are IT responsible. Also, identify the cause of the errors and find the solution. Resolve the requirements and incidents in accordance with the SLA conditions.</li><li>Ensure appropriate availability, reliability, and scalability of application owned.</li><li>Update operational procedures applicable in case of planned and unplanned switching of the system under your responsibility, as well as the intervention in case of needed system recoverability in the event of failure.</li><li>Provide support in functionality and acceptance testing during the implementation of application.</li><li>Ensure excellent performance of the organizations application.</li><li>Regularly monitor and reconcile the performance of the application owned to predefined performance thresholds and take appropriate actions where required.</li></ul> <p><strong><em>Responsibilities</em></strong></p> <ul><li>Manage the operation and maintenance of our banking customer acquisition application deployed in the cloud, including troubleshooting, and resolving any issues that arise.</li><li>Ensure that our application is up to date with the latest software versions and security patches.</li><li>Implement IT operations best practices to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and security for our applications.</li><li>Monitor and manage application performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal user experience.</li><li>Collaborate with development teams to ensure that our application is developed in accordance with IT operations best practices.</li><li>Work closely with our cloud service provider to ensure that our applications are deployed and managed efficiently and effectively.</li><li>Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the operation and maintenance of our application.</li><li>Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders regarding application-related issues.</li><li>Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure that our application is running smoothly and efficiently.</li><li>Stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in the field of IT operations management.</li></ul> <p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong> 🔎</p> <p>We are looking for an experienced IT DEV OPS engineer to join our team and lead the management of our banking SME applications deployed in the cloud. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these applications, implementing IT operations best practices, and providing exceptional service to our customers.</p> <p><strong><em>Technical - must have skills</em></strong></p> <ul><li>Strong hands-on experience designing, implement, building, and automating infrastructure and application deployments in AWS.</li><li>Experience working in a mission-critical environment (Operations, Technical Support etc) </li></ul> <ul> <li>Strong background in Linux administration and expertise in managing large-scale systems.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline deployment processes.</li> <li>Proficiency in version control systems like Git (we use GitHub for collaboration).</li> <li>Strong understanding of networking and security concepts in AWS</li> </ul> <ul><li>Experience with PowerShell/Bash or other scripting languages.</li><li>Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation etc.</li><li>Experience with configuration tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)</li></ul> <p>Experience with containerization platforms such as Docker and orchestration tools such as AWS EKS/Managed Kubernetes Service or self-hosted Kubernetes.</p> <p>Experience with monitoring solutions that ensure the health and performance of AWS resources (such as Prometheus, CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK, Datadog)</p> <ul><li>Data bases administration: AWS Elastic Cache, Oracle, PostgreSql, DAX etc. </li><li>Experience with core AWS platform architecture, including areas such as: Organizations, Account Design, VPC, Subnet, segmentation strategies. </li><li>Ba
