About the role

Description

The Department of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons is searching for a full time BC/BE Neurotologist at the Assistant Professor rank to join a busy academic practice, expanding our ability to deliver world-class care across the entire breadth of neurotology/otology. We have a robust Hearing Implant Program and a national/international referral of diverse otology, neurotology and lateral skull base patients, with strong collaborative relationships with neurosurgery, and internationally renowned clinical and basic science researchers. A competitive candidate will have an interest in clinical work, strong interest in research, and teaching/supervision of trainees and medical students.

Position Highlights: 

• Join a collegial team of fellowship-trained subspecialists in a department that values innovation, mentorship, and academic excellence. 

• Opportunities to build a high-volume surgical practice encompassing the full breadth of neurotology, including lateral skull base surgery, vestibular schwannoma     management and complex otologic surgeries.

 • Participate in multidisciplinary skull base alongside Neurosurgery, Radiation Oncology, Audiology, and other specialties. 

• Dedicated time for research.

Qualifications

Minimum Degree Required:

  • Applicant must hold a MD degree.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current or Eligible New York licensure.
  • Current or eligible for DEA and Board Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Fellowship Trained
