Location: Greenbelt, MD – Onsite
Clearance Requirement: Top Secret (TS) – eligible for TS/SCI
We are currently looking to fill the Regional Affairs Analyst role. Responsibilities & other details are listed below:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform advanced regional affairs analysis with a mastery of international relations principles.
- Apply experimental theories and innovative approaches to solve complex geopolitical and policy challenges.
- Make decisions or recommendations that significantly influence or shape public policy or international programs.
- Define and address unknown or emerging conditions in global or regional affairs, offering original solutions.
- Lead or contribute to projects that directly impact high-level administrative, diplomatic, or security objectives.
- Provide high-level products and insights that support decision-making by senior officials and interagency partners.
- Influence the development of major policies or programs with long-term or wide-reaching effects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather data, synthesize findings, and deliver clear and actionable recommendations.
- Perform all duties associated with the Regional Affairs Analyst Level III role.
ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in International Relations.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience, including at least five (5) years in a related career field.
- Active Top-Secret clearance (SCI eligible).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects within established timelines.
- Proven ability to analyze complex information and develop well-founded policy recommendations.
- Excellent judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated professionalism and the ability to interact courteously and effectively in diverse settings.
