TITLE:

Engineer II Data Science

HOURS:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

DUTIES:

Adheres to Foundever policies on ethics and integrity. Works directly with project and business leaders to identify and select analytical requirements. Interprets modeling results using a variety of techniques, ranging from data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining, modeling, machine learning and predictive analytics. Designs, develops, implements and maintains machine learning solutions such as: Senior Agent/Team Lead metrics for measuring productivity and effectiveness. Call Length Prediction model to determine if a customer call will be long or short. Service Level Prediction model to predict when accounts will meet or not meet service level goals and the decision support to make corrective action. Derive customer satisfaction (CSAT)/Net Promoter Score (NPS) drivers. Derive call drivers by agents, product category, etc. Agent Retention model to predict turnover from the agent staff. Chat-Bot models to auto-answer searches and typed questions from agents. “Invested Time” models to predict which ontology-based portions of calls are occurring. Performs quality assurance testing of Machine Learning predictions, Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), code and processes. Analyzes, troubleshoots and solves development and production predictions model issues as required. May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related.

 

Two (2) years in any occupation with experience in Information Systems, or related.

 

Two (2) years in any occupation with experience in Information Systems, or related must include: Concepts, practices, and procedures within the data science field, including data acquisition, cleaning and manipulation; Modeling techniques such as logistic regression, time-series forecasting and machine learning; Graphing and explaining/presenting results; Perform skilled and rapid development of hypothesis and testing routines following pre-established guidelines and instructions; and Experience with ‘R’, Python, TensorFlow, DataRobot, Azure DataBricks, Microsoft Azure ML, Cosmos DB.

TELECOMMUTING EMPLOYEE:

Reports to company headquarters in Miami, FL. Can work remotely or telecommute up to 100%.
