As the sector continues to attract significant investor interest, our expertise in capital markets and investor engagement provides clients with valuable insights for navigating key financial events.</p> <p>As our Defence practice continues to grow, we are seeking a Director based in Berlin who will contribute to the continued growth of this important practice through client advisory work and business development.</p> <p>The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in the defence industry and the ability to engage with its most pressing issues. They will have a strong network across government, media, industry associations and the private sector, together with a proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with a broad range of stakeholders.</p> <p>The ability to engage confidently and discreetly with senior decision-makers on strategic mandates, combined with a strong understanding of political strategy and excellent writing and editorial skills, will enable the successful candidate to deliver exceptional client service.</p> <p>At Brunswick, Directors play a vital leadership role. They are role models for junior colleagues and actively support their development and progression.</p> <h2>About the Role</h2> <p> </p> <p>The Director will take on a broad range of responsibilities, including:</p> <ul> <li>Strengthening the firm's advisory capabilities through access to and engagement with key stakeholders in Berlin, across Germany and internationally.</li> <li>Building and enhancing Brunswick's reputation among senior decision-makers, political stakeholders and the media through an active presence in relevant networks.</li> <li>Representing Brunswick's strategic advisory capabilities to clients and internal and external stakeholders.</li> <li>Supporting a Partner in developing new client mandates and advising senior corporate decision-makers (e.g. CEOs and Board members).</li> <li>Advisory work will include sector-specific policy developments, financial transactions, geopolitical developments, business-critical situations and strategic support for companies' business development.</li> <li>Actively contributing to Brunswick&
