As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as needed. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and/or client management.
• Provide customer service by assisting personnel and visitors, answering questions, and responding to requests in a professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and/or client requirements.
• Participate in emergency response activities as needed, including evacuations and lockdowns, while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns in the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.
• Must have a active Texas Armed Security License or approved by Texas PSB. 
• Be at least 21 years of age. 
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
