Job Description
- Application support and training
- Learn and support vehicle builds for any and all projects which includes writing work orders and ensuring project timelines are met and vehicles are built properly and on time
- Gathering parts/instrumentation
- Writing work orders
- Overseeing and supporting the build
- Ensuring Vehicle information and instrumentation is properly entered into Metrack
- Test and debug instrumentation after vehicle build is complete
- Receive SOA SW from AR to flash and debug vehicle for APP work
- Learn and support vehicle builds for any and all projects which includes writing work orders and ensuring project timelines are met and vehicles are built properly and on time
- Support SW re-flash as needed at customer locations
- SDC (semi-active Damping Control) bench set-up (If time allows)
- work with engineers to finalize a test bench in the eLab
- learn SDC calibrations and test bench validation process
- assist and learn with any projects with SDC

- Keep Harley-Davidson Digital Techlink 3 updated with the latest software
- Identify application specific wiring harness needs
- Discuss with Application engineers what is needed for harnesses
- Organize parts to create harnesses in one location in the lab, document and store
- Create prints for wire harnesses
- Build wiring harnesses as needed
- Assist with CIP projects
- Assist 2WP-NA Safety Committee with organizational tasks
- Work side-by-side with Sr. Application Engineer with daily tasks
- Shadow the calibration process for an awarded 2-wheel Active Safety project
- Assist and learn calibration process for ABS/MTC/MSC/DTC/VHC
- Obtain traces for calibration work and assist with calibration changes to help improve performance
- Learn Vehicle Test Catalog validation content and preparation for approval
- Complete VTC3 and VTC5s upon request
- Review traces to ensure vehicles passes
- Complete VTC3/5 test matrix with appropriate data
- Complete VTC3 and VTC5s upon request
- Participate in DRBFM reviews for software releases
- Shadow the calibration process for an awarded 2-wheel Active Safety project
Qualifications
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems or SW engineering or equivalent with at least one semester completed
- Experience with 2-wheel and power sports vehicles
- Experience with Excel macros and SW code
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university
- Minimum of overall GPA of at least 3.0
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
