Role summary:Join Walmart as a Staff Product Manager, where you will lead data-driven product decisions by leveraging analytics and emerging technologies to enhance customer experiences. About the team:
The team leads the strategy, development, and enhancement of tax-related products within Walmart’s global tax ecosystem. Collaborating closely with Tax, Engineering, and Compliance teams, they focus on delivering efficient, accurate, and scalable solutions. The group emphasizes data-driven decision-making, stakeholder engagement, and leveraging emerging technologies to optimize product roadmaps and functionalities. Members contribute to shaping product vision and strategy while ensuring alignment across cross-functional partners. This team fosters a disciplined, results-oriented environment dedicated to continuous improvement and innovation in tax domain product management.
What you'll do:
- Analyze product and feature data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps, prioritizing features and managing backlogs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on product vision and strategy.
- Conduct customer research to understand needs, optimize journeys, and enhance satisfaction.
- Lead product development cycles using Agile methodologies and MVP approaches.
- Communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes clearly to business and engineering audiences.
- Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience in product strategy development and roadmap management.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to build alignment and influence decisions.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision making, including product and feature analytics.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and their application in product innovation.
- Ability to independently manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and drive MVP delivery.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and product development lifecycles.
- Capability to analyze customer needs and optimize product experiences for value creation.
- Skilled in collaborating cross-functionally to navigate dependencies and organizational constraints.
